Knowing the Market

Usually, I am not so miserable, ’cause I didn’t always have Great Expectations for my dating life. I finally bottomed out, merely hours ago I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. On a weekend of loneliness, obviously. You better believe it was great. Does that tell you anything? Actually, it’s when I initially thought about joining a dating service in North Dallas.

Nothing that can’t be fixed. I’ll ease back into dating thru a matchmaking service like Great Expectations Dallas. And it turned out to be my golden ticket. The reason I mention my dating woes: While eating corn on the cob at Julie’s soccer finals in Dallas yesterday, Mom had to know if I’ve found my true love. I just can’t believe that came up. So, I said, “what’s your deal, yo?”

Even Gramps mindlessly kept jabbing me along the lines of my companionship situation. I said to all of them: “Dating isn’t for me, but I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”

How can they be so rude? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Shortly after, I rang Margaret just to get some perspective. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! Nothing was helping and I needed some damn help. Nina, who recently moved to Italy recommended that I sign up for Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” But it really was a good idea. I especially enjoy this dating service full of fun and desirable Dallas singles.

At the time, dating events were a novel thing from my perspective. I showed up already a little anxious, so much so that I got a little queasy. My slip up could not put an end to us from enjoying ourselves. That night I enjoyed was a happy hour not to forget. The greatest most memorable part of it all was the other members, some who are my new friends.

Afterwards, I realized why so many people show up to these amazing Great Expectations Denver singles events, I got in touch with quite a few winners that must share a parallel understanding when talking about real-world dating. I really shouldn’t allow my family get me down about being single. Astoundingly enough, dating the Great Expectations way is enjoyable and like a dream come true.
