Wedding Hairstyles

December 31st, 2008

How you wear your hair at your wedding is important. Above all else you Wedding Hairstyle has to be comfortable. It should compliment not only your face but your dress as well.

It does no harm to have your regular hairdresser practise on you a few times. By doing this you may decide that the particular Wedding Hairstyle you have dreamt about having since you were a small child actually does nothing for the shape of your face!

If you want a wedding updo and you have relatively short hair then although with many grips and much hairspray it is possible, do remember that your hairdresser can do the impossible but miracles are outwith their reach!

Try to get a rough idea of what sort of style you are looking at for your wedding hairstyle as far in advance as possible. This gives your hair a chance to grow to a length that is more manageable for your hairdresser. After all long hair can easily be cut but it is harder and more expensive to add to your hair.

Always remember it is you that is getting married and not some fairytale image of you that you have held in your imagination since you were six! You dont want to walk down the aisle to your beloved and have him not recognize you because you wedding hairstyle is so different!

Try not to go for something very different. Chances are you will get fed up with it. If an updo requires a lot of help to stay up then as a wedding hairstyle it probably isn’t right. Your wedding hairstyle has to stay in place for up to 10 hours, a lot to ask of any hairstyle but particularly difficult when a veil is shoved in, you are being swung around the dance floor and everyone wants to hug you!!

I would suggest go for elegance and comfort. Something that suits you and brings out your best features. If you can mange a wedding hairstyle that looks just as good down as up then you grab it with both hands, a comb and some grips!!

Going Camping? How To Find A Great Camping Spot

December 29th, 2008

If you want to go on a camping vacation, you will be faced with the decision on where to go. Many experienced campers have their favorite spots but if you want to try something new or are a novice camper, you will need to know how to choose a great camping spot. The first thing you will want to determine is whether or not you will be renting a recreational vehicle or sleeping outside in a tent. There are different grounds available for RV owners and those who are camping in tents. There are also features that you may want to be aware of when traveling with certain age groups. Some areas are more amenable to adults only while others are family friendly. The more populated areas are generally the ones that are best for smaller children and families.

Distance is another consideration. Most people do not want to drive long distances in order to camp. Airplane travel is also not conducive to camping since all the equipment that needs to accompany the travelers will not typically fit in the allotted luggage constraints. Therefore, flying is usually cost prohibitive. There are camping spots available throughout the United States often within a decent driving distance of most major cities. When looking for a camping spot, there are a few places you can go to use as a resource.

Travel agents will have ample information on campgrounds available and will be able to coordinate sightseeing, guided tours, and adventures. Camping stores will often have recommendations on popular local camping sites. The Internet is a valuable way to find information on camping. There are numerous sites online where you can get information on all camp grounds within a specific area. You can get editor’s and user reviews that will help you make a final decision on where to go.

The Father Of Virtual Real Estate Investing Comments On His Industry

December 29th, 2008

A newcomer to the world of investments in the notion of “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. What is meant by “Virtual Real Estate Investing” ranges from online games like SecondLife (where real profit can be made) to the use of internet technologies to make normal real estate investors more profitable.

To separate fact from fiction, I asked Bryan Ellis of BryanEllis.com for comments. He’s the man many consider to be the father of this new form of investing.

When I began using the term virtual real estate investing in the late 1990s, I did so because I saw clear parallels between the strategies used for profiting from physical real estate and those that would create income in the online world, said Ellis.

An example of the similar nature of “virtual” and “physical” real estate Bryan Ellis likes to point out is the methods of making a profit from domain names compared to physical real estate. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property ” those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc.

I must admit: Its easy to see the parallels. After all, if you own a valuable piece of real estate, it’s “valuable” because other people are interested in that specific piece of property. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.

In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

Offshore Games of Luck Keep Bettors at Their PC’s

December 29th, 2008

sports handicapping wager

A new wave of bettors have come across the caption “offshore sports betting”, but some are not entirely clear on what it conveys. An overseas betting website fundamentally acts extrinsically to the legal power of a specific nation or it can be a live gambling website that has the majority of their host servers inside the borders of a country in which machine-accessible playing of games of luck isn’t currently vetoed. To summarize therefore, it is a betting establishment in action extraneous to the state of the gamer. Internet based gaming world wide web sites are nowadays governed with the help of three governing bodies. These are dubbed OSGA (the Offshore Gaming Association), the IGC (Interactive Gaming Council) and finally the Fidelity Trust Gaming Association (the FTGA).

The OSGA is an autonomous agency which oversees the modern overseas betting business, they want to also afford betting fanatics the means to discover reputable sites to play games of destiny with. The Offshore Gaming Association attempts to guard the rights of bettors, and also they don’t charge any affiliation expenses. The association is a well-qualified not to mention unbiased third party company which gives equitable judgments, based around customer feedback, impartial scrutiny, conversations, insider tips and in addition delivers industry information.

The Interactive Gaming Council is a nonprofit council. The organisation was designed to supply an arena for worried people to discuss matters furthermore to improve shared worries in the world-wide interactive gambling trade, to ensure civil and stable industry codes and procedures that improve consumer certainty in net based gambling products and functions, and to assist as the trade’s global procedure interpreter not to mention the council provides an information center.

The Interactive Gaming Council has built up a reputation for promoting trustworthiness, right conduct and credibility via the integrity standards it presents, and its appeal to commercial enterprises of good conduct. The Interactive Gaming Council monitors offshore gaming via implementing a distinctive 10-step code of conduct furthermore bills betting business concerns a price for featuring the council’s logo. Dispirited customers may also disclose their divergences of opinion to the Interactive Gaming Council.

The Fidelity Trust Gaming Association was founded in an attempt to construct a benchmark to upgrade the transactions of computer accessible gaming trading operations. The authority believe that by conducting trade entirely with respected sites, they are able to cultivate an affiliation of the most ethical and professional offshore gaming businesses internationally.

To summarize, there are governing bodies who observe the practises practised by networked gaming and which should aid to relieve a lot of the concerns held by betters. Web based gambling websites are now totally secure, now that individual details should not be needed and the payouts and the betting odds are equivalent to a typical Vegas-style sports bet. They wipe out traveling expenditure, but preserve of a Vegas gambling casino, however now you can gamble in the comfort of your own trusted surroundings.

Do Search Engines Scare You?

December 28th, 2008

What do the words “Search Engine” make you think of? I get immediate mind-pictures which vary but all have similar themes. Sometimes I see one of those tiny submarines which are used to explore the deepest parts of the ocean bed. I have this picture in my mind of the tiny submarine underwater in complete darkness apart from the beam of its searchlight which is probing the gloom. Other times I see a horse-drawn carriage driving through dense fog with only its weak lamp relieving the darkness. This scene is from a movie where the police are racing through London in search of Jack The Ripper. The final picture is of a line of policemen in old-fashioned uniforms advancing across a moor in darkness through rising mist with only their flashlight-beams to light their way.

It can get a bit scary inside my mind at times. If these were dreams rather than passing thoughts, they would probably be analysed as meaning an obsession with darkness and getting lost. Maybe the lights penetrating the darkness symbolise a fear of ignorance (or maybe a fear of getting found out). The obvious link is that these pictures all relate to a search of one kind or another. The first one might represent a search for knowledge, the second one is obviously the search for a criminal and the final one a search for clues at the scene of a crime.

Why would the words “search engine” conjure up these dark visions? If you look at the words we associate with search engines, I think the connection will be clear. We talk about “submitting” our websites to search engines. We don’t “send” our websites or “apply” to search engines or “register” our websites with search engines. We are submissive and the search engines dominate us.

We adopt this submissive posture and the search engines send their robots to “crawl” over our websites. Doesn’t sound very pleasant does it? The future of your website is entirely in the power of these monsters. You have spent time and perhaps some cash getting your website ready for the visit. Your website, the shop window to your home business, has been tweaked and “search engine optimised”, now you can do nothing except hope that your efforts will be rewarded with approval by these invisible inspectors.

Web site owners act as if the search engines are neighbourhood dignitaries: “We must tidy up, the search engines are coming to visit”. An anxious time follows while your website, brushed, polished and optimised to the best of your ability, waits to greet these visitors. The most respected visitor is Googlebot. He causes most anxiety and is renowned for being unpredictable. Webmasters try to analyse the “Googledance” in the hope of making Googlebot’s visit enjoyable. If we can get the mighty Googlebot to dance instead of merely crawling, he might give us a good report, but Googlebot can’t seem to decide what algorithm he prefers. How are you supposed to get his feet tapping? Unfortunately, the search engines are not the most communicative visitors and you only realise they have carried out their examination when something (either good or bad) happens to your protégé’s page rank.

The search engines are not like your school teacher who gives you a class test, they are more like the university Board Of Examiners: when you have passed or failed their test, you will never get to know which questions you got right or where your weakness lies. Further improvement will have to be a matter of guesswork but suppose your guess is wrong? You might destroy the very things which met with the search engines’ approval. Then you hear that the search engines don’t agree amongst themselves, so what pleases some of them might lose you points with others. Which ones should you try hardest to impress? Should you turn your website into some sort of private Googledancer and risk offending the rest of the robots? Would it be better to try to please one or two of the larger search engines or a big bunch of the lesser ones? Finally you hear a rumour that the search engines are changing their secret rules anyway but nobody knows what the changes will entail. You despair of ever satisfying the masters of your fate, you feel as if you are stumbling around in the dark. Panic takes you over.

Should you be afraid of search engines?

Anybody in his right mind should be afraid, very afraid.

Let Romance Motivate Us

December 28th, 2008

What motivates a tiger to run after his prey? The desire to get his meal. What motivates the prey to run away from tiger? The desire to save his life. That is why, many times, the prey outruns the tiger. The desire to save life gives motivation much beyond the desire to get a meal. To work towards a goal, all of us need motivation. Some of us work to
achieve success so that they can to prove themselves in front of their friends. Some work to get more money and live a more comfortable life. Some want to succeed for the thrill of achievement. For every person, there is his/her own motivation.

Why do we need motivators?

For living, we only need air, water, food and shelter. But we are much more evolved than animals. So we want to achieve something in life that satisfies us. Human being is given a mind that thinks. This thinking mind can achieve quite a lot, if it is made to think. What makes the mind think is the motivation!

Achieving in life.

All of us have our own goals. Some of us have very small goals. To feed themselves twice a day and live peacefully may be one such goal. On the other end, few of us have goals that look very ambitious. For example - A small town person living in poverty, makes his/her goal to become the richest person on the earth. Such a person may not become the richest person, but will surely become wealthy, if the goal is pursued intelligently.

How to motivate oneself for bigger goals?

It is not that ambitious goals are impossible to achieve. History tells us that this has been done. Take any field and you will find some achievers who themselves cannot believe about their own success! Was romance one of the motivators for such people? It is said that behind every successful person, there is one of the opposite sex. This is true, because romance is a great motivator.

Why is romance such a great motivator?

In romance, one begins looking at the world with different perspective. everything begins to look very charming. One in love, wants to look good in the eyes of the beloved. In romance one wants to do everything that pleases one’s beloved. Love conquers all the obstacles on the way and impossible begins looking possible. Romance gives a new life to the dead cells of the mind, a new energy to the tired body, and new emotions to the heart. Look at a butterfly. Watch it romancing with flowers and you will find out how life becomes beautiful in romance.

Bring romance in life.

Bring romance in your life. You will find yourself a changed person. You will reach heights from where everything will look small. Let romance motivate you to do what you had only dreamt of. Let romance make you think of new and ambitious achievements. Let romance motivate you to be a success.

Planning a Wedding? Don’t Forget the Officiant!

December 27th, 2008

My husband and I have been pastors for over sixteen years, serving in Protestant congregations and as campus ministers at a large university. During that time we’ve presided over a lot of weddings - probably close to a hundred between the two of us. And one of the things we’ve discovered is that unless a couple is an active member of a church or already friendly with a minister or judge, one of the last things couples tend to think about as they do their wedding planning is who will do the ceremony.

Most couples work hard to find the perfect dresses for the bride and bridesmaids, and the appropriate tuxes for the groom and ushers. They ask nieces and nephews to be flower girls and ring bearers, and book space for the wedding and reception months in advance, in addition to arranging for catered food, the cake, beautiful flowers, and a professional photographer. They order the perfect invitations to be sent the appropriate weeks in advance of the big day, select rings, and book the piano player, organist, string quartet, and soloist. But one of the last things many couples plan for is who will officiate at their wedding. In fact, for many, it’s not even on the “to do” list until the last minute.

I can’t even begin to count how many times someone has called our office asking if we do weddings for non-members of our congregation. We do, under the right circumstances, and tell them so. Then they tell us that they are getting married in a week. Or two days. Or tomorrow. And they wonder if we will do their wedding. I’m not kidding. They made all of their other wedding plans well in advance, the flowers are due to arrive on time and the cake is just about to go into the oven, but they forgot to arrange for who would preside over the spiritual ceremony itself, not to mention sign the wedding license and make the whole thing legal. And unfortunately, in most cases, we can’t just drop everything and preside over their wedding, not with that short notice.

Now I certainly understand that not everyone is a regular part of a spiritual community, so you may not have a priest or pastor or rabbi or other religious cleric standing by to do the wedding. And that’s fine - being part of a faith community isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, we each have our own spiritual path and way of journeying on it. But if you are in the process of planning a wedding, and don’t have a pastor or other cleric you know who could do the ceremony, consider adding “Find an Officiant” to the top of your wedding to do list.

The Officiant can be any ordained minister who is licensed by your state to do weddings. Or it can be a judge or justice of the peace. If you are on a cruise, the Captain of the ship can marry you! Some folks ask their friends to get ordained online, and then they have them do the ceremony - and that’s fine, just make sure your state recognizes the ordination as legal. Whatever the case, just make sure you find someone who is licensed by your state to officiate. (If you don’t have a relationship with the Officiant before the wedding, you can expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $300 for your Officiant, depending on: how much, if any, pre-maritial counseling is involved; how much planning of the actual ceremony is involved; travel considerations; and whether or not there is a rehearsal to attend the night before the wedding. You can ask how much is charged before your first meeting together - most will let you know their fee up front.)

The bottom line is this - it’s your special day, you’ve put hours of thought and planning and work into making it special. Just remember, when you are choosing between prime rib and salmon, and deciding between live music or a DJ, and trying to figure out whether to have an open bar or cash bar, somewhere in the mix make sure you include finding someone to actually preside over the wedding. Because the simple fact is this - if you don’t have an Officiant, there can’t be a wedding!

Ski Vacations for the Environmentally Minded Skier

December 27th, 2008

Dozens avid skiers will presently be searching for their salopettes and scooting forth in search of the greatest snow.

And without doubt the results of our carbon footprint will be roughly as far down the list of vacation essentials as a Christmas cracker after Christmas.

Merely last winter, a tardy snow made the the broadsheets and holidaymakers were panicky about the flakes of snow melting almost as soon as they landed.

Snowboarding organisation Chalet1802, located at the base of Mont Blanc in Chamonix Haute Savoie France in the Alps, is one of the first independent firms to go carbon negative and give snowboarders an environmentally friendly option while organising their ski vacations.

Chalet1802 proprietor Tosha stated: Last year was a bit of a shock with the hottest wintertime in fifty yrs in the French Alps. French ski fields for example Montroc, La Clusaz and Bessans lacked clients. It was balmy and the snowfall did not last so a lot of the early season skiing season in the Alps was patchy. We resolved to go carbon negative to help preserve the snowboarding resort.

Tosha said: We’re not seeking to prescribe to punters but I consider it is important to provide the clients the choice without augmenting the cost of the vacation. When they book with us and takes his annual leave in our Chamonix chalet they can more than off-set their carbon output and we absorb the extra prices. Of course we still have a sauna and a hot tub - customers wish for luxuriousness but not at the expense of the environs, so we looked at methods of diminishing the impact of a skier traveling over here for a snowboarding holiday.”

The business have moreover partnered with organisation Climate Care, who tackles global warming by providing C02 deductions for people and firms.

For more information on luxury chalets and carbon neutral snowboarding vacations offered by Chalet1802 visit www.chalet1802.co.uk.

Wedding Gifts - Not Just for the Bride and Groom!

December 26th, 2008

With most contemporary weddings there is a huge entourage of individuals who are extremely important to the success of the big day. Bearing this in mind, it seems only fitting that these people should be recognized for their time and effort with specifically chosen wedding gifts all of their own.

Who Should Receive Wedding Gifts?

The obvious answer is anyone who helps out to the extent that the bride and groom feel that they deserve special wedding gifts. Typical individuals who should be considered for such wedding gifts include bridesmaids, best men, ushers and the parents of the bride and groom.

Wedding gifts are also often given to the professionals that help make the day happen, such as your hairdresser or the wedding planner, although these gifts are more token gifts and can be as simple as a nice card or a small bouquet of flowers.

With larger weddings, it is also common practice to offer a small gift to every guest in the form of a favor, placed at each place setting. Due to the large quantity of these wedding gifts that you are required to purchase, they tend to be much smaller and cheaper such as sugared almonds or small chocolates.

Choosing Wedding Gifts

Of course, your choice of wedding gifts depends largely on the known likes and dislikes of the people whom you have invited to attend your wedding party. If you have a small number of people involved you may be able to purchase individually chosen, more expensive wedding gifts such as a special ornament or piece of jewelry. But remember that it is the thought which counts, and token wedding gifts such as cufflinks, teddy bears and mugs can be just as effective.

As part of the wedding speeches, bouquets of flowers are often given to the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom; this is particularly the case with more traditional wedding ceremonies.

A great cheap way to please the wedding party guests is to offer them pictures of the day as well as any attire that you have purchased especially for them. It is very difficult to think of anything else to do with the bridesmaid dresses and jewelry, so why not use them as unique wedding gifts?

By giving the critical members of the wedding party wedding gifts you will ensure that your important helpers feel that their efforts have been noticed and they will feel that they have truly been a vital part of your big day.

Giving wedding gifts to guests may seem a little odd, but why not share the good fortune of your day and spread a little happiness?

Buy a new home with easy loans, 397855 euro is not a problem

December 26th, 2008

Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 8 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly. So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust’ In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 6 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. Although most mortgage experts say that rates 9 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 7 percentage. See which lenders are charging fees 8 percent and for how much. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 8 percent.

Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering. But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 5 percent offered by competitors will change.

In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.

Different lenders charge different fees. Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 11 percent. Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.

Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.

Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 6 percent. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property.
